As an authorised Wedding Celebrant, my role involves far more than turning up on the day and asking you both to 'repeat after me'. While many couples today still want a traditional ceremony, others prefer to choose their own styles, themes and words to make their ceremony more relevant to them. Your vows are naturally the most important part of your Wedding Day. Because of this, people are often nervous about writing their own vows. My Vows page might help soothe those nerves a little and give you some ideas on how to approach the task. My clients of course receive my personal assistance if they wish to write their own special vows.

As a wedding celebrant, I process and submit all the required legal paperwork to the Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages. However, my services to you also include all the items listed below, which are provided to every couple at no additional cost:

A thorough initial interview to obtain and understand your wishes for your wedding ceremony. This is vital for me, so that I may assist you in planning a ceremony that embraces the the passion, desire and beliefs that you have as a couple.

Obtaining the necessary legal details to ensure that your marriage will be valid under the laws of the Australia.

Presenting to you the outstanding services offered through various relationship counseling organizations.

Assisting you in creating your own unique and personal wedding vows, should you wish to do so.

Creating and performing a wedding ceremony approved and agreed upon by both parties.

Offering the reassurance of a rehearsal prior to the wedding day.

Conducting and presenting myself at all times with the professionalism befitting my office as an authorized celebrant and the spokesperson on your special day, in keeping with the Code of Practice for Marriage Celebrants.

The security of Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.

A professional Public-Address (PA) System, with a built-in CD player for playing your special wedding music and 2 speakers on stands. The system has a lapel microphone for my use, and a hand-held microphone for friends or family who wish to do readings or dedicat ions. The unit also has a cassette player and a recording of your ceremony can be made available.
