I am a registered Justice of the Peace (Qualified) in the State of Queensland.

Justices of the Peace (JPs) are respected citizens who are entrusted by their community to take on special responsibilities within the legal system. The duties of a Justices of the Peace (Qualified) include witnessing signatures on documents, certifying true copies of documents, issuing search warrants, remanding defendants (returning dependants to custody until their case can be heard), adjourning court hearings and granting bail.
